Welcome to Veritas Education
An annual liberal arts program that started in Jeju Island, South Korea, Veritas Education offers unique opportunities to learn from and with Harvard, Yale, and Princeton college students acting as mentors.
What is
Veritas Education?
Veritas Education is an education start-up that offers unique opportunities to learn the liberal arts from Harvard, Yale, and Princeton mentors.
Our classes are project-based and our curriculum is built by our mentors themselves, based on the liberal arts, the foundation of Harvard, Yale, and Princeton’s education philosophy.
Educational Offerings
Learn a little more about what we do.
-
Our classes are small and project-based. We believe that mentorship can only happen in such environments and therefore guarantee that the class size is no larger than 7 students. An example schedule may look like the one on the right.
-
We provide a standardized set of courses, while the topics and content covered within each course may vary at the mentor’s discretion. These subjects include:
Science
Mathematics
Creative Writing
History
English Literature
Philosophy
Computer Science & Startups (New 2023)
-
Notice that we have allotted extracurricular time at the end of each day. These extracurricular offerings are based on mentor experience and mentee interest. We offered different extracurriculars last summer such as…
Coding
Film Analysis & Theory
Songwriting
Theater
Pure Math Puzzles
"Learning from the mentors was the first time I saw someone and thought, 'wow, I want to be like them'. They made me work harder to achieve my dreams."
Yeso Lee, Branksome Hall Asia G7
Outside the Classroom
Outside the Classroom
Mentorship doesn't only happen during class! We organize a variety of activities for mentors and mentees to interact outside the classroom, including settings that extend the mentorship of Veritas Education even after the summer
In 2022 and 2023, we had:
General college application info session
US boarding school info session (Phillips Exeter)
UK boarding school info session (Seven Oaks)
Mountain hike with mentors
Basketball and soccer games
Year-round Zoom classes

At Veritas, we prioritize mentorship above all else. We rarely use the words "teacher" or "student"; instead, we use “mentor” and “mentee”.
We aim to educate the next generation in the liberal arts by bringing the world-class education of Harvard, Yale, and Princeton to students in Korea.
You can learn more about our mission on the About page.

No. We are an education startup founded by two Yalies who are passionate about bringing liberal arts education to Korea. We may work with local academies for space and logistics.
